I'm sorry this is a couple of days late. I got laid low with a particularly nasty cold, and have basically spent the last couple of days in bed. I was too tired to even put the sheets on my bed after I did laundry - so I've just been sleeping on a mattress the last two nights. But I am now feeling 50% human so I'm posting this. Please leave lots of comments so that I can feel even better!

Title: Butterfly Seasons

Rating: T/M (language, thematic elements later on)
Timeframe: MWPP
Summary: Lily Evans is a prefect who happens to have a lot on her plate: her sister's getting married to a jerk, James Potter won't leave her alone, and there are way too many rumors going around. Just one of those would be bad enough, two would be hell, but three is unimaginable torture. Good thing she's capable of holding her own, and perhaps things will turn out to not be as bad as she thinks.
Disclaimer: All recognizable characters, objects, spells, places, etc. belong to JKR. I just happen to be playing in her sandbox.
Notes: Multi-chapter fic.

Feeling: sick sick

I would like to extend my deepest apologies for my failure to work on this, post, or even tell you all about the (obvious) hiatus in a timely manner. I was going through some old work when I got reinspired by this, and so I'm going through old (un-posted chapters), giving them a bit of an edit, and posting them. I will try to do this fairly regularly, and I would again like to apologize for abandoning this. I hate when authors abandon their fics, which makes me the worst sort of hypocrite for abandoning mine. Anyway, I'm sure you didn't come over to read my whining ramblings, but the fic instead, so here's the new chapter.

Note: The coloring of an icon depends on the base image - even "black and white" images can result in different coloring with the same gradients if the amounts of black, white, and gray differ. For this icon, select an image with similar coloring (very blue and dark).
