My Fists are my Way of Life. (original) (raw)

mood: sore

Unfortantly for me, Ravan chipped my axe doing who-knows-what with it and I had to either find a replacement or sharpen it. I don't have the time to sharpen it, so I went to buy something else at the local Weaponary Shop and that's where I noticed this Kougra. She looked like the motherly type, so I had no clue what she was doing there. I found out she was getting a package for an Assassin who I found out attacked one of the friends of the 'family'. Couldn't see what it was at first, but it was pretty large and knowing it was for the Assassin; I had a feeling Nhamotai ( The Assassin, children. ) was probably planning to use it on Kujin.

I wouldn't allow that of course, so after quickly purchasing a rather old-fashioned looking Samurai sword, I stole it from the Kougra. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a thief. I leave that kinda stuff to Kilala, she's better at it anyway. After telling the Kougra to leave without it, Nhamotai shows up thankfully. She didn't really come forward when I had the sword drawn, so I really didn't pay much attention to her. After opening the package, I found out that the thing inside it turned out to be a Boomerang with a bladed side. Splendid looking weapon, really.

I told her bluntly that I wasn't going to give it back, then she left and I headed home. I had a feeling she'd come back to it, because Tai said it was a family heirloom and most don't give those up without a fight. And I was right, in less than an hour; she showed up in my room with Kujin; oddly enough, via her aquatic travel or as she put it 'Puddle Travelling'. Something around those lines.

After talking with her for a bit, I handed her the boomerang. Then her and Kujin started fighting again, though she couldn't use the boomerang, because she said she didn't have time to practice it. After Kujin pushed her back with /my/ sword, the boomerang flew out of her hand, bounced off the wall and struck Kujin in the chest. At seeing this, I ran over with little regard to the boomerang which was now flying in each direction and looked him over. He was still alive.

I tried catching the stupid thing and succeeded, but before I got a chance to give it to Tai; it flew upwards which involved me getting slashed deeply in the shoulder. I tried getting those two out of the room, but they didn't listen to me. I'm not sure what happened after that, because I decided to leave instead of risking the chance of watching them get slaughtered.

Well, I'm not going to get any training done until Chinuru heals my shoulder which I hope is soon. I want to practice with the sword, I'm not really used to a light-weight weapon. That's about it for now.
