The UK Centric Sewing Circle is an adjunct and and antidote to all the US centric ones out there. It hopes to have lists and links for resources for sewing, especially machine sewing, in the UK so we don't have to pine over fabric.com, jo-anns, Hancocks & G Street. (Well, we can continue to pine, but this should help us do it less often.)

Someday there will be links, I'll let you know when....

Meantime, a great start to the community resources would be for everyone who joins to post their favourites, and suggestions for interests would be useful too.

I think that the only rule so far is that everything needs to be in the UK - online retailers are not going to qualify just because they are willing to ship here. (Might make an exception for Europe though.)

And vanity & showing off is fine - those posts inspiration for the rest of us after all, but please do not use this community to try and sell your stuff. The rest of us don't want to buy, we want to make.
