The first week is now closed. Thanks for all those that particpated. Hopefully as we go along more people will submit icons and more members will come.See the submissions and Vote UNDER THE CUT for your favorite THREE icons. YOU MUST VOTE FOR THREE. Oh, and don't vote for yourself. You have till Sunday night at midnight to vote. I am excited about the community and I can't wait till tomorrow to post theme material. The bio and decorating is pretty much done. So if you would please read over it and make sure you understand what is expected. Feel free to ask any questions.Let's get this started in here.....We will start off easy for week one and give you guys a chance to get your feet wet.Theme of the WeekCommunity IconsAs you may have noticed the communtiy has no user icons. The top 3 winning icons will be the community icons. This is a chance for you to add something to the community.-Use ANY picture(s) of Britney that you like.-The icon must contain the text Briteny Icontest some how.The comments to this post will be screened. Please leave your submission to this post in a comment. You have till Friday the 20th at midnight eastern to submit your icons.Happy Icon making and good luck!

Welcome to the newest Britney community on lj! I searched lj today and didn't find any icon contest community for her and she is so great. And there are so many wonderful pictures of her and also alot of fans. I thought if any celeb deserved a contest like all the other popular celeb contests , she did!I am currently working on the bio getting all the rules and guidelines up. They will be up by Monday to ensure everyone knows what is expected of the community.We will be starting our first contest on Monday August 16th, so tell all your friends about us!I am also looking for someone to help with the community. I prefer someone with some graphic making skills so they can help with the winner banners and can be creative. You will also help in ensuring the community rules are not being broken. As well as promoting the community to get new members. If you are interested please let me know.I am your moderator and I am excited to get this community going.
