These types of roundabouts control the traffic flow at the entrance and exit of the roundabout, with the guidance of drivers to isolated lines before entering the roundabout and guidance to the spiral lines inside the roundabout as channelized. Another advantage of these roundabouts is the much more balanced division of traffic flows than traditional ones. In Iran, in view of the many problems of capacity, flow and safety of intersections and intersections, this type of roundabout can be very useful in certain conditions. In this research, how these roundabouts are compared and also the comparison of different input capacities based on the origin-destination demand matrix for new roundabouts and common roundabouts of two lanes with the help of Aimsun traffic simulation software have been investigated. For this purpose, the values of traffic indicators of delay time, density, flow, stop time and travel time of computer simulations for new roundabouts and common roundabouts have been investigated and compared. According to the demand matrix of the origin-destination models loaded in the software and comparisons done, the optimal model for the highest capacity and the lowest delay time and travel time is presented. In this simulation, 8 to 16 percent increase in traffic flow and a decrease of 34 to 59 percent for travel time and delay time in the new roundabouts is shown in comparison with the common two-lane roundabouts.

The additive used in this study is a combination of rubber powder and polyethylene terephthalate, which is found in percentages (0 and 100), (25 and 75), (50 and 50), (75 and 25) and (100 and 0), are combined to form a dual additive. The desired additives were mixed with bitumen in 10% and 15%. Dynamic creep tests, modulus of erosion, moisture sensitivity and ITS have been used to evaluate asphalt mixture. In the numerical part, ANFIS neural network method has been used to estimate the results. The results showed that the addition of PET increased viscosity and also reduced density. The addition of PET to the additive (25% modifier) reduces the psychological number. On the other hand, the addition of 15 % modifier containing 0.75 CR increases the dynam...

The Marshall stability, modulus of resilience and indirect tensile strength tests are carried out. Boiling water and SEM qualitative tests are also used. Eventually, the qualitative tests results are digitalized through image processing by MATLAB and compared with the moisture susceptibility results of indirect tensile strength test. For modulus of resilience testing, the results show that this modifier has the maximum impact on Marshall stability, improving it by about 23%. For moisture susceptibility testing, the nanosilica-modified mixture has the maximum effect among anti-stripping additives, with an improvement by about 20%. An investigation into the results of SEM images and boiling water test via MATLAB indicates the high accuracy of SEM images and their results show the most compatibility with the results of quantitative data.
