The contemporary democracies experience increasing social inequality and unable States to guarant... more The contemporary democracies experience increasing social inequality and unable States to guarantee rights and freedoms; rising political displeased and absence of spaces for citizen participation, demonstrating complex scenarios in the sustainability of the scheme. These problems are more evident in the youth population, who is strategic in the development, evaluation, and improvement of democracy. From the political science perspective "quality of democracy" research evidence shows that despite the democratic transition in 2000, young people in Mexico have greater democratic dissatisfaction, lower civic values, decreasing political knowledge, and political undemocratic attitude.
