The study was held to determine the Self Efficacy and Motivation of university students towardsWeb based learning in Karnataka by intriguing 560 University stage students from five Universities namely Bangalore University, Jain University, Christ University, Mysore University and Karnataka University. The investigation/survey method was followed and stratified random sampling technique was used in selecting the samples. Primary data was collected with a well-designed questionnaire by the trained investigators. Hypothesis was formulated and tested using T-Test and ANOVA. The end result discovered that students' with background knowledge on Information Technology or computer applications have high self-efficacy and non-Information Technology or computer application students were motivated more with challenging applications in web based learning. Their overall mind-set scores towards such learning did not differ extensively with their individual variables like, age, gender, stream of study and residence.

Stock prices move up and down on a daily basis without any change in the fundamentals of the companies. This can be called as crowd behavior. It's human nature to want to participate in the latest hot area of the market-no one wants to feel like they're missing out on the 'easy money'. Nonetheless, investing based on past performance is all too often a recipe for disaster. Behavioral finance is the study of investor's psychology while making financial decisions. Investors fall prey to their own and sometimes others' mistakes due to the use of emotions in financial decision-making. Behavioral finance tries to understand how people forget fundamentals and make investments based on emotions. It starts with the simple belief that real life investors are not rational and that arbitrage is risky and therefore limited. The balanced scorecard approach is employed to view the stock market from four perspectives, and to develop metrics, collect data and analyze it relative to each of these perspectives.

Women are an economic force to be reckoned with. The Objective of the study is to conduct a relative study of AWAKE, SISI, MDTC, RVTI and KASSIA that imparts Entrepreneurship Training and Development Programs for women in Karnataka, and its impact among Women Entrepreneurs. A Descriptive study is employed as fact-finding investigation with acceptable interpretation to narrow down the research topic and to have better understanding of the same. Both primary and secondary data is considered and the survey is done through administering the questionnaire to the potential and existing women entrepreneurs. 5 units were taken judiciously. Out of 1000 trained women entrepreneurs in each institute, and 100 samples are selected in which 50 will be potential and 50 will be existing women entrepreneurs. Women have been taking increasing interest in recent years in income generating activities, self-employment and entrepreneurship. Seeking employment alone is not sufficient but employment has to be created. The ultimate goal is not just to provide an effective entrepreneurship development programmes but to cultivate perfect human being to the society in the form of a competent and SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR.

phase, driven by demand from global auto manufacturers. The objectives of the study is to
revise the history of automotive industry in India by identifying the factors driving the growth
of auto components in India and to study the trends, business opportunities and challenges for
growth of automotive industry in India. Cost competitiveness, customer orientation, lead
time, are some key factors the auto component SMEs will have to imbibe to survive in the
new global set-up.
A number of foreign firms initiated joint ventures with Indian companies. The entry of global
manufacturers enabled introduction of new technologies, new products, improved quality and
better efficiencies which in turn acted as a catalyst to the development of local component
industry. A trend in the auto component industry is where in auto parts makers have formed
joint ventures to boost technological know-how and expand product range.
Addressing the challenges and risks will be crucial to promoting SMEs in the auto component
industry. The government has initiated cluster-based development – geographical
concentration of enterprises having similar lines of business. Quality awareness has increased
across all levels of management and is being viewed as a “must have,” instead of “nice to
have” factor. Capitalising on this growth prospect will mean keeping pace with global
developments and imbibing capabilities that will give an edge to Indian SMEs in surviving
this rapidly changing competitive environment.

The objective of competent pay for performance is to attract capable applicants and by retaining current employees as strengths. This study examines impact of compensation on the performances of employees and the extent to which compensation management can be used as a tool for improving organizational performance in the service sector. It is also aimed at finding out if efforts of the employees commensurate with compensation and ascertain the extent to which reform programmes of the sector have affected compensation policies and practices. In pursuance of the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey design is developed. Chi square-test is also employed to test the significance of the coefficient of correlation at 5% level of significance. The topic is of particular interest to the researcher because employees who are involved in service sector are those who are commonly found to experience face-to-face interactions with customers and play an important role in ensuring that service quality is delivered. In this context, there is a need for companies in the service sector to really focus on determining how they can encourage their employees to be dedicated and engaged with their work.

resources with a new capacity to create wealth and success. It is always technological innovation
that defines every aspect of our life, the way we communicate, socialize, campaign and conduct
business. Women entrepreneurs, mainly as a result of culture, have been found to have traits
different from their male counterparts and yet they grapple with similar business issues including
the need to continuously change and innovate. It is therefore striking that very little is known about
the innovative practices of women entrepreneurs, especially those in developing countries.
Participation of women in economic activities is now emerging as a universal phenomenon.
Alternatively stated, women are increasingly joining the world labour market and also assuming
the role of entrepreneurs all over the world. In the study attempt is made to generate a profile of
innovative women entrepreneurs based on their personal and business characteristics. Data are
compiled from a sample of 100 women entrepreneurs in Bangalore, Karnataka and analysed using
ANOVA to determine any correlation between the independent and dependent variables. The
results indicate that women’s entrepreneurial innovativeness is very much affected by their age
and education, as well as the type of business, location and size of business. The study then
proceeds with the development of their profile and concludes with several research and managerial
implications.

They create new jobs for themselves and others by providing society with different solutions to management, organisation and business problems. There is no doubt that India is just behind US and China in terms of fastest growing SME market. Now, what is needed is the content should be hyper localized, simplified and personified. Women entrepreneurship can make a predominantly strong contribution to the economic well-being of the family, society poverty reduction. Thus, governments across the world as well as various training and developmental organizations are actively enterprising the promotion of women entrepreneurs through various programs, schemes, incentives and promotional measures. Study focus on analysing various environmental factors that catalysed growth and influenced women entrepreneurs to take up business under the umbrella of SME’s in urban Bangalore, Karnataka state. Primary data has been collected from 100 women entrepreneurs and the findings indicate that the married women having only school studies had undertaken sole entrepreneurship in service sector at the age ranging between 25-30 years. The objective was to study the profile of the women entrepreneurs in urban Bangalore by identifying the consequence of personal factors over the financial sources and the knowledge of technical know-how, there by finding out motivational factors influencing the present business towards success. Descriptive or Percentage Analysis was employed to study the profile and Chi-square and Average Rank Analysis was used to analysis the consequences of personal factors over the financial sources and the knowledge of technical know-how. The analysis showed that there has been a significant influence of investment, experience, and profit over the financial sources and knowledge of technical know-how. It was also found that financial turnover, technical skill possessed, support from the government, business and industry advisory services and assistance are the motivating factors of women entrepreneurs in the SMEs. It was observed that women initiate entrepreneurship due to economic factors like money, government policy, labor cost and interest rates. These factors pushed them to be on their own and urge them to do something independently. It was further seen that few women preferred to work from their own work residence, difficulty in getting suitable jobs and desire for social recognition motivated them towards self-employment.

Realizing the need for training, the government started introducing several programs. Appropriate training is still the key to a successful program to develop entrepreneurship among women. Developing countries have made outstanding social progress through training and empowering women, which has a massive impact in terms of societal standing, literacy, health and economic development of a nation. Training is an essential component for producing an able corpus of entrepreneurs who not only survive but thrive and contribute to the local and ultimately, the global economy. The problem statement of the research is expressed in terms of research importance, society's apprehensions and scholastic contribution to the discipline. There are many training institutes and associations at the State, National and International level, providing effective and proficient training to potential and existing women entrepreneurs. But unfortunately there are very few who are involved in the better utilization of these programs. Therefore, this area has attracted attention to take up the research. The objective of the research is to conduct a relative study of Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Karnataka (AWAKE) and Regional Vocational Training Institute (RVTI) that imparts training and development programs to women entrepreneurs. Primary analytical research methodology was adopted to carry out the research. Both primary and secondary data are considered and the survey is done by administering the questionnaire to potential and existing entrepreneurs who will be trained and developed at AWAKE and RVTI, Bangalore, Karnataka.

In the words of Peter Drucker, " Entrepreneurship is neither a science nor an art. It is a Practice ". Indian women of today have taken many paces towards entrepreneurship. The present world is changing at an amazing velocity. Women are an economic force to be reckoned with. All the available information on earlier studies and the findings of various researches undertaken on different aspects of the problem under study familiarized the researcher with knowledge pertaining to entrepreneurship. The Objective of the study is to conduct a comparative study of Small Industries Service Institute (SISI) and Multi Disciplinary Training Centre (MDTC) that imparts Entrepreneurship Training and Development Programs for women in Karnataka, and its impact on them. After selecting the problem of the research and anticipating certain relationship between criteria variables, direct or inverse, the research is carried out with some hypothesis formulation and testing. Once the objectives are defined and hypothesis is framed, the research design is developed which is a blueprint for fulfilling the objectives and answering questions. Survey method is adopted for the research. The respondents will be interviewed with comprehensive questionnaire and responses and the feedback will be used for testing hypothesis. A Descriptive study is employed as fact-finding investigation with acceptable interpretation to narrow down the research topic and to have better understanding of the same. Both primary and secondary data is considered and the survey is done through administering the questionnaire to the potential and existing women entrepreneurs who will be trained and developed at these institutes in Bangalore. It has a population of about 8.42 million and a metropolitan population about 8.52 million, making it is the fourth most populous city and fifth most populous urban agglomeration in India, located in southern region. A living is much more than employment. The focus of the this paper will be on creation of meaningful and sustainable livelihood prospects, Efficient utilization of skills and innate abilities of human resources that generate wealth in the targeted economy. Over long spans of time, economic growth and the associated improvements in living standards reflect a number of determinants, including increases in workers' skills, rates of saving and capital accumulation, and institutional factors ranging from the flexibility of markets to the quality of the legal and regulatory frameworks. However, innovation and technological change are undoubtedly central to the growth process; over the past 200 years or so, innovation, technical advances, and investment in capital goods embodying new technologies have transformed economies around the world. The deprived domestic segment basically encompasses marginal framers, landless laborers, self employed and unorganized sector enterprises, urban slum dwellers, migrants, ethnic minorities and socially excluded groups, senior sector and women. This study facilitates to know the financial position, awareness level towards grants, subsidies, saving and credit behavior of the deprived domestic and there by suggesting innovative measures to intensify the living prospects in the Bangalore – known for IT hub. Accordingly 560 deprived domestic from Bangalore City were randomly selected for the study. Structural interview schedule was used to gather information from the respondents. Percentage was used to analyze data on demographic characteristics, level towards grants, subsidies, saving and credit behavior of the deprived domestic, while chi-square test was used to find out the relationship between socioeconomic factor of the respondents and the level of financial status. It is observed that 28 percent of the respondents were belonging to family monthly income below ₹ 5000 followed by 33 percent between ₹ 5001-₹ 10000 and further to 76 percent are having bank account. It was unfortunate to note that, they do not use these accounts to intensify their living by utilizing their rights to banking. About 47.6 per cent of respondents knew about awareness of grants and subsidies through the source of media. Economic policy affects innovation and long-run economic growth in many ways. A stable macroeconomic environment; sound public finances; and well-functioning financial, labor, and product markets all support innovation, entrepreneurship, and growth, as do effective tax, trade, and regulatory policies. Both primary and secondary data is considered and the survey is done through administering the questionnaire to the potential and existing women entrepreneurs. 5 units were taken judiciously. Out of 1000 trained women entrepreneurs in each institute, and 100 samples are selected in which 50 will be potential and 50 will be existing women entrepreneurs. Women have been taking increasing interest in recent years in income generating activities, self-employment and entrepreneurship. Seeking employment alone is not sufficient but employment has to be created. The ultimate goal is not just to provide an effective entrepreneurship development programmes but to cultivate perfect human being to the society in the form of a competent and SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR.

revise the history of automotive industry in India by identifying the factors driving the growth
of auto components in India and to study the trends, business opportunities and challenges for
growth of automotive industry in India. Cost competitiveness, customer orientation, lead
time, are some key factors the auto component SMEs will have to imbibe to survive in the
new global set-up.
A number of foreign firms initiated joint ventures with Indian companies. The entry of global
manufacturers enabled introduction of new technologies, new products, improved quality and
better efficiencies which in turn acted as a catalyst to the development of local component
industry. A trend in the auto component industry is where in auto parts makers have formed
joint ventures to boost technological know-how and expand product range.
Addressing the challenges and risks will be crucial to promoting SMEs in the auto component
industry. The government has initiated cluster-based development – geographical
concentration of enterprises having similar lines of business. Quality awareness has increased
across all levels of management and is being viewed as a “must have,” instead of “nice to
have” factor. Capitalising on this growth prospect will mean keeping pace with global
developments and imbibing capabilities that will give an edge to Indian SMEs in surviving
this rapidly changing competitive environment.

In pursuance of the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey design is developed. Chi square-test is also employed to test the significance of the coefficient of correlation at 5% level of significance. The topic is of particular interest to the researcher because employees who are involved in service sector are those who are commonly found to experience face-to-face interactions with customers and play an important role in ensuring that service quality is delivered. In this context, there is a need for companies in the service sector to really focus on determining how they can encourage their employees to be dedicated and engaged with their work.

that defines every aspect of our life, the way we communicate, socialize, campaign and conduct
business. Women entrepreneurs, mainly as a result of culture, have been found to have traits
different from their male counterparts and yet they grapple with similar business issues including
the need to continuously change and innovate. It is therefore striking that very little is known about
the innovative practices of women entrepreneurs, especially those in developing countries.
Participation of women in economic activities is now emerging as a universal phenomenon.
Alternatively stated, women are increasingly joining the world labour market and also assuming
the role of entrepreneurs all over the world. In the study attempt is made to generate a profile of
innovative women entrepreneurs based on their personal and business characteristics. Data are
compiled from a sample of 100 women entrepreneurs in Bangalore, Karnataka and analysed using
ANOVA to determine any correlation between the independent and dependent variables. The
results indicate that women’s entrepreneurial innovativeness is very much affected by their age
and education, as well as the type of business, location and size of business. The study then
proceeds with the development of their profile and concludes with several research and managerial
implications.

There is no doubt that India is just behind US and China in terms of fastest growing SME market. Now, what is needed is the content should be hyper localized, simplified and personified. Women entrepreneurship can make a predominantly strong contribution to the economic well-being of the family, society poverty reduction. Thus, governments across the world as well as various training and developmental organizations are actively enterprising the promotion of women entrepreneurs through various programs, schemes, incentives and promotional measures. Study focus on analysing various environmental factors that catalysed growth and influenced women entrepreneurs to take up business under the umbrella of SME’s in urban Bangalore, Karnataka state. Primary data has been collected from 100 women entrepreneurs and the findings indicate that the married women having only school studies had undertaken sole entrepreneurship in service sector at the age ranging between 25-30 years. The objective was to study the profile of the women entrepreneurs in urban Bangalore by identifying the consequence of personal factors over the financial sources and the knowledge of technical know-how, there by finding out motivational factors influencing the present business towards success. Descriptive or Percentage Analysis was employed to study the profile and Chi-square and Average Rank Analysis was used to analysis the consequences of personal factors over the financial sources and the knowledge of technical know-how. The analysis showed that there has been a significant influence of investment, experience, and profit over the financial sources and knowledge of technical know-how. It was also found that financial turnover, technical skill possessed, support from the government, business and industry advisory services and assistance are the motivating factors of women entrepreneurs in the SMEs. It was observed that women initiate entrepreneurship due to economic factors like money, government policy, labor cost and interest rates. These factors pushed them to be on their own and urge them to do something independently. It was further seen that few women preferred to work from their own work residence, difficulty in getting suitable jobs and desire for social recognition motivated them towards self-employment.

It has a population of about 8.42 million and a metropolitan population about 8.52 million, making it is the fourth most populous city and fifth most populous urban agglomeration in India, located in southern region. A living is much more than employment. The focus of the this paper will be on creation of meaningful and sustainable livelihood prospects, Efficient utilization of skills and innate abilities of human resources that generate wealth in the targeted economy. Over long spans of time, economic growth and the associated improvements in living standards reflect a number of determinants, including increases in workers' skills, rates of saving and capital accumulation, and institutional factors ranging from the flexibility of markets to the quality of the legal and regulatory frameworks. However, innovation and technological change are undoubtedly central to the growth process; over the past 200 years or so, innovation, technical advances, and investment in capital goods embodying new technologies have transformed economies around the world. The deprived domestic segment basically encompasses marginal framers, landless laborers, self employed and unorganized sector enterprises, urban slum dwellers, migrants, ethnic minorities and socially excluded groups, senior sector and women. This study facilitates to know the financial position, awareness level towards grants, subsidies, saving and credit behavior of the deprived domestic and there by suggesting innovative measures to intensify the living prospects in the Bangalore – known for IT hub. Accordingly 560 deprived domestic from Bangalore City were randomly selected for the study. Structural interview schedule was used to gather information from the respondents. Percentage was used to analyze data on demographic characteristics, level towards grants, subsidies, saving and credit behavior of the deprived domestic, while chi-square test was used to find out the relationship between socioeconomic factor of the respondents and the level of financial status. It is observed that 28 percent of the respondents were belonging to family monthly income below ₹ 5000 followed by 33 percent between ₹ 5001-₹ 10000 and further to 76 percent are having bank account. It was unfortunate to note that, they do not use these accounts to intensify their living by utilizing their rights to banking. About 47.6 per cent of respondents knew about awareness of grants and subsidies through the source of media. Economic policy affects innovation and long-run economic growth in many ways. A stable macroeconomic environment; sound public finances; and well-functioning financial, labor, and product markets all support innovation, entrepreneurship, and growth, as do effective tax, trade, and regulatory policies. The end result discovered that students' with background knowledge on Information Technology or computer applications have high self-efficacy and non-Information Technology or computer application students were motivated more with challenging applications in web based learning. Their overall mind-set scores towards such learning did not differ extensively with their individual variables like, age, gender, stream of study and residence.
