Lancet window LAN sit

A narrow window with a sharp pointed arch, very often with diamond-shaped lights (panes)

The term "lancet window" is properly applied to windows of austere form, without tracery. Paired windows were sometimes surmounted by a simple opening such as a quatrefoil

Commonly found in Gothic and Gothic Revival style
