There are multiple occurences in the web page of "Mac OS X", like "Download the latest version for Mac OS X". This OS is called macOS since some years. It may be confusing for a new user.

I believe that this duplicates comments on other Mac issues. The download web pages are not part of the CPython repository covered by this tracker. I will let Ned comment further.
