Cloud Computing is the most promising and latest technology in the IT era. In real world everyone want fast, secure and reliable access of data so cloud computing is the next basic need in the IT world. Cloud computing is the abstraction of web enabled computers, resources and services to utilize the resources optimally. Cloud is a network of virtually distributed resources and clusters. Virtualization of resources facilitates resource utilization on demand. The deployment of virtual clusters offer full connectivity to the virtual machines connected in different network. To deal with big data management cloud architecture is introduced that facilitate big data processing using big data analytics. Cloud computing is the advanced version of distributed computing and parallel processing.

In recent trend the challenge is managing the resources to maintain the scalability in dynamic environment. The need is to improve the performance of cloud computing systems by provisioning and allocation of on-demand resources to reduce the time. Some of the existing methods are based on static parameters such as CPU utilization threshold, resources, and workload that give less efficient results and there is lack in handling the over-provisioning and under-provisioning situations. In this paper we propose resource allocation model on the basis of dynamic parameters. The proposed method, dynamic threshold-based dynamic resource allocation can optimize the resource utilization and time. The proposed model is implemented on CloudSim and experimental results show the proposed model can improve resource utilization and time.

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) clouds offer computation of workflows at low cost. Objective of this paper is to propose an enhanced heuristic method for scheduling single scientific workflow that reduces time and cost QoS parameters. This paper discusses different workflow scheduling approaches on the basis of data storage system and clustering methods to obtain single QoS objective. Proposed method is based on multiobjective heuristic which is an enhanced version of MaxMin workflow scheduling, called Vertical MaxMin Workflow Scheduling (VMM). The simulated result for comparative study of various heuristics is done on WorkflowSim for single workflow. Comparative results confer that proposed method obtains multi-objective QoS with lower cost in efficient time.
