What's BUMP OF CHICKEN?
BUMP OF CHICKEN is a Japanese rock band that has, in the past few years, joined the mainstream rock groups in the Japanese music industry. "BUMPCHIKI" or "BUMP", as it is commonly called, is made up of vocalist/guitarist Motou Fujiwara, guitarist Hiroaki Masukawa, bassist Yoshifumi Naoi, and drummer Hideo Masu. They went on a hiatus from their 2004 success but are now back on the scene. They also have their own weekly radio show called PONTSUKA on BayFM. They are regularly featured in BPASS magazine with artwork, diaries, etc.

So what's this community for?
BUMP OF CHICKEN LJ community's purpose is to share the latest information: CD/single releases, new photos, old photos, history, live performance dates, PVs, MP3 files, translations, icons, fanwork, and anything else relevant to BUMP. We're simply fans, and we'll welcome any BUMP fans or those who want to hear and learn about them. Please read the rules below before posting.

[+] Advertising for a companion community (i.e. BUMP OF CHICKEN icons, &tc.) is all right, but please refrain from advertising irrelevant communities.

Final Note
We do NOT tolerate ripping translations and photos without proper credit. Please do not forget to credit ALL work, whether it's yourself or someone else! If you are caught copying lyric/text translations or artwork, you WILL be banned.
