The problem identified is the lack of knowledge about the circulation patterns and user demand for different subjects within the library. It seeks to address the existing research gap about the Library user circulation pattern among students associated with the above faculty level. The study specifically investigates the period from 2015 to 2019, taking into account the progressive growth and diversity of the Library collections. The rest of the objectives of the study are to determine the user demand for different subject disciplines and to assess the circulation trends. To achieve these objectives, the primary data was gathered from the Report Module of the Integrated KOHA Library Management System of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, and the retrieved data was then analyzed statistically by Microsoft Excel. The findings of the study offer valuable insights into Library circulation and the book usage patterns of students. The research reveals a significant demand for Textbooks in the field of Social Sciences among students, retrieving huge hits for the main subject disciplines such as Religion, Philosophy, and Psychology instead of the disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Technology, and General Works. It is recommended that the Library allocate additional resources and prioritize budget allocation toward the Social Sciences field. This would involve acquiring popular books that cater to the diverse needs of students and faculties across various disciplines, ultimately contributing to the development of a comprehensive collection that effectively addresses the requirements of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

As a result, it has been widely used in top level companies for evaluating their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system today. In this study, a new K-means clustering method proposed to evaluate the cluster customers' profitability in telecommunication industry in Sri Lanka. Furthermore, RFM model mainly used as an input variable for K-means clustering and distortion curve used to identify optimal number of initial clusters. Based on the results, telecommunication customers' profitability in Sri Lanka mainly categorized into three levels.

The main objective of the study was to identify the information needs of Academic staff in RUSL. It also examined their purposes of getting information, current needs and methods of obtaining information and use of different types of information resources. Finally the study aimed at finding out solutions for difficulties indicated in order to enhance the library services of RUSL. A survey was carried out. Total population consisted of 216 Academic staff members. Stratified random sampling technique was used to select the sample which was 158. A questionnaire was used as the major data collection instrument and Interviews, observations and secondary sources were also used. The response rate was 94.3%. Data analysis was done using both quantitative and qualitative techniques. “P” values were used to check the accuracy of the results. Among the findings, major needs for academi...

The Scopus database was selected to make the literature search process transparent, and the literature survey was based on terrorism and tourism as the keywords. The PRISMA 2009 helped the selection and exclusion process. During literature classification, the final 37 articles with at least one citation for the review were arranged in an excel sheet to find the gap and directions of terrorism and tourism. The results revealed literature on the nature of the relationship between terrorism and tourism, critical challenges related to terrorism, regional effects of terrorism on tourism, and terrorism impact preventing strategies. The systematic review recommends that future research must focus on critical disputes related to terrorism, and suitable strategies to prevent terrorism

Sample was selected throughout the North Central Province and the case study method was applied with a self-administered questionnaire (SAQ) that used as a tool for data collection. The results reveal that existing level of the security has critically in questionable level while some of other security precaution levels are high. Further results showed that library staffs' awareness about prevention from the natural disasters were in low level and finally it was revealed that many general issues such as negligenceof staffs', readers' and parent authorities' are also highly impacted for the total security of library materials in the libraries.

Determining the factors and sub-factors in the evaluation index system, and then calculating the factor and subfactor weights by the extent analysis fuzzy AHP method. By the constructed system, evaluating performance can be conducted by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The approach can provide an effective, reasonable and accurate results of the assessment. Evaluating performance is the main means to improve Service quality and can play a major role in strengthening the management of institutions. For this purpose, a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) method integrating the fuzzy logic and AHP methods is used to determine performance indexing criteria more effectively, easily and applicable for a Universities libraries. Shortly, the objectives of the research are; to define a step-by-step approach for an efficient performance indexing variable selection in Measuring library performance.

This study examines the accuracy and feasibility of using OpenAI Language Models for assigning Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) numbers in libraries. The primary objective is to compare their performance with that of human classifiers in accurately assigning DDC numbers. A sample of 30 books from various disciplines is used, and the DDC numbers assigned by human classifiers serve as a benchmark tallying with Online Catalogue of Library of Congress (OCLC Classify). The books are then presented to the linguaGPT Language Model for automated classification numbers. Statistical measures, such as precision, recall, and F1 score, are used to evaluate the model's accuracy. The findings indicate that OpenAI Language Models demonstrate a moderate level of accuracy, with a precision, recall, and F1 score of 0.53 (53%), suggesting they achieve moderate performance in correctly identifying positive instances and overall prediction accuracy. However, the model's performance varies depending on the complexity and specificity of the materials being classified. In comparison, human classifiers consistently achieve accurate classification, drawing on their expertise and contextual understanding. Recommendations from this study include validating classification with reliable sources, seeking subject-matter expertise, regularly reviewing and updating the classification system, and exploring hybrid AI-human systems. Implementing these recommendations can enhance the accuracy and reliability of library classification systems, facilitating improved access to information for users. In conclusion, OpenAI Language Models show promise in library classification, but improvements are needed to ensure greater accuracy.

Ranking libraries is an interesting topic nowadays, due to most of institutes follow this to evaluate their services and recognize their current passions. There is no any systematic performance evaluation or ranking system for Sri Lankan library context, therefore proposed study will be most innovative among the library leaders of Sri Lanka. The library performance evaluation indicators found from the literature and Analytic Hierarchical Process (AHP) with FUZZY logic used as the tools of this study.
