So, we'll see how it goes. I'll be sure to post updates.This is the highest weight that I've ever been and I'm having trouble fitting in my double digit pants. :(Here's what I've eaten today:breakfast- handful of almondslunch- bag of organic carrots with light ranch dipsnack- yo digestive yogurtdinner- butterbeans and riceI've had one coke today and a bunch of fruit juice. I was also wondering if some of you could add me as a friend as I am really in need of a support system. I would like to reach my goal weight by June. Thanks so much in advance.First of all, I had a very, very bad summer and gained a whole lot of weight. I am ashamed of it, but you can only be ashamed for so long before you get frusterated with yourself and decide to change. That is what I am doing.I have been a model all of my life. But, I never paid attention to weight or what I ate. It always seemed silly to do so. In fact, I ate a lot more than most; I was sort of known for my ability to have the perfect body and to eat a five egg omelet. But, I hit puberty late and my body went berserk. At the same time, I began to have hormonal issues with my thyroid gland. Nonetheless, at 120 lbs. I still had a good body; it should be noted, too, that women in my family weigh much more than they appear to. My mom is 129 lbs. and looks much too skinny. But, anyway, I became even more self-concious than I already was and, with the help of starvation and cross-country training, got down to about 90 lbs. But, as is the case with nature, one extreme has an equal and opposite extreme. I crashed with my depression and gained more weight than ever.So, here are my statistics. Yes, they are cringeworthy. But, there are bigger things to worry about than the bodies we travel in. I just want to look like the person I am on the inside.Height: 5'3"CW: 148 lbs. (5 comments | comment on this) Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007 8:06 pm - Tredmill!!!!! lissa12321 so we got a tredmill and i love it! i use it when i can along with my ipod...music seems to help alot...i haven't lost much weight but now that we have this it should help...seeing as there is around 2 feet of snow here in alaka i dont go running outside....we have a baby in the house so somtimes its hard to use it...i might move it into a different room so i can tho...and i have new goals...short term goal is lose 20 pounds or so by April (Prom) and i want to lost around 55 in total by September. just wanted to share later all-Melissa current mood: amused (1 comment | comment on this) Monday, January 22nd, 2007 10:34 pm - Hello! ex_kiiabby684 Hello, I'm new.I'm currently sat at 11st 4lb today (158lb) and it sucks!I'm fed up of slobbing around in horrible t-shirts and fed up of the zip on my jeans sliding down when I don't notice it. I'm fed up of not being able to wear my favourite jeans for 4 years, fed up of feeling uncomfortable and not looking good in dresses. I'm fed up of being able to see my boyfriends hip bones and not my own! I'm fed up of eating crap and having bad skin.I'm so annoyed with myself for getting this way, but there's nothing that can be done but get rid of the flab! I'm following the Weight Watcher diet and so far (I'm three days in), it's going okay. I'm actually having a hard time eating all the points I'm allowed! It's very strange, part of me feels like I don't deserve to be thin. Part of me thinks I'll just give up and that will be that for another year. But, then the rest of me thinks "well why the f**k can you not be thin? Don't you deserve to look and feel good like other people? I'm not so much so on a diet, but rather simply trying to eat healthier and exercise more, a diet in a sense, I suppose. I used to have a problem with eating last year aaand the year before that, but so far this year nothing has gone wrong (of course, it is only January 2nd, but details). I run track at the my high school (distance), so that helps with the exercise bit. I'm just trying to find a balanced lunch for my day, which is a challenge since we eat lunch around 11:30. My school does offer salads, but that's not enough to keep me going through track, on the other hand they offer bagels, but I feel like that's too many carbs, even though I am running. But this past week nothings come off. I eat a very small portion, then I stop eating after 12 p.m and I don't exercise. I feel like I've hit a plateau, but i don't think i've been dieting for too long. Like I've only lost 16 pounds. How do you get past plateaus, and does anyone have any suggestions? Between being anorexic and then really heavy (caused by medical steroids), I have a hard time with my weight. But, it's been bothering me. I got married 2 years ago and put on 50lbs (I have recently lost 6lbs). I want to go back to a healthy weight again. Being this big is not good on my frame.I just have a problem cos i think my birth control and asthma medicines have caused my body to shut down...blah...I will overcome this though.My plan: I've already started exercising. I do about an hour of DDR a day (on the workout program) and end my exercise days with sit ups, obliques, lunges, etc. I also go to my local zoo (it's 216 acres) and walk around the zoo. I've been slowly cutting calories, it's hard when we hardly have any money for good food and end up with ramen all week.Well, just wanted to say hello. I will post my progess. (comment on this) Tuesday, October 10th, 2006 6:43 pm lissa12321 So its been a really long time since i have posted here so i figured i would tell everyone hows it is going and welcome all the new people....I actually thought about posting because i was very excited my mom got a tredmill...!!!!! that may not seem to exciting for other people who can just take walks/jogs or whatever around their neigbhorhood....but i live in alaska and taking walks in the snow is cold and there are Moose everywhere. So as of today i am doing 30 mintues a day on the Tredmill and i guess i will post later and tell everyone how im doing...oh and heres an update on my weightloss totals...Current:175Highest weight:195Lowest Weight:145Goal Weight:130 by April!! I've struggled with weight my whole life, and spent a good chunk of my junior high/high school years not eating, and therefore now have a REALLY slow metabolism.I'm 25 now, and have made alot of improvements, but I lmwo I will never get to my goal weight with just eating right. This challenge comes in three varieties: 1. The Active Lifestyle Program - For those of you who aren't active on a daily basis yet, this is a great way to begin. The rules are basically to get a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise at least 5 days a week, for a total of 6 weeks.2. The Presidential Champions Program - If you're already active and want a new challenge, this program is for you. Your goal is to see how many points you can earn by staying active. Points are based on the amount of energy each activity burns. So the more active you are, the more points you'll get. When you reach 20,000 points, you'll earn a Bronze award. Then you can continue on in the Presidential Champions program for a Silver or Gold award.3. The Advanced Performance Presidential Champions Program - This is basically the same system as the Presidential Champions Program, except that the award goals are higher. For instance, you need to get 40,000 points to earn a Bronze award.
