Today we humbly send our condolences for the passing of the Honorable Murray Sinclair. Born and raised near Selkirk, Manitoba, just north of Winnipeg, Senator Sinclair has fought for decades to educate Canadians on the truth of Canadian history and the ongoing impacts on First Nations, Métis and Inuit people. He proudly led the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and has been instrumental in advancing truth and reconciliation while also highlighting the beautiful culture, identity and resilience of Indigenous peoples in Canada. We send our condolences to Senator Sinclair’s family and friends and acknowledge the great loss for all people living in Canada. We commit to continuing his legacy in advancing truth in reconciliation in the work we do.https://lnkd.in/gJEDhWcp - Our CEO, Craig Earle, sat down with CBC’s Nancy Carlson this week to discuss CPAC’s role in fostering collaboration across Canada’s provinces and territories. This collective effort leads to better prevention, improved care, and, ultimately, more positive cancer outcomes for people in Canada. 🎥 Watch the interview: https://lnkd.in/d__QBXjn
