CIBC Capital Markets is pleased to have acted as Joint Co-Ordinator and Mandated Lead Arranger on Ellevio’s SEK11 billion refinancing, increasing the credit facilities from SEK 9 billion. Ellevio is a leading electricity distribution system operator in Sweden, serving ~1 million customers. The deal demonstrated strong support from existing lenders and a number of new lenders who joined the syndicate, ensuring that Ellevio can continue to carry out their extensive electricity network investments needed to enable electrification and the journey towards fossil-free energy.
