Last night I had the absolute privilege of getting a tour of the huge 370-acre upcoming Northcrest Developments YZD project. On top of learning about the actual infrastructure plans, we got insight into the amazing and thoughtful community engagement they focused on for *years* prior to even putting in the bid. This included not just the existing neighbouring communities, but also a number of Indigenous communities as well - exactly how it should be done 👏🏻 The decommissioned runway hosts community events and you can also check out their experience center to see what the plans for the multi-decade project look like. And as many of you may have heard, it will host a concert venue with a 50K person capacity for a number of years - with Oasis and Coldplay already confirmed to play there. 🔗 in the comments to their upcoming events! Here's me! A few weeks ago I was finalist, presenting ecologicca at INNOVATEwest! Seeing my company's name on a big screen in front of hundreds of people never gets old. Honestly - I love it! But this time, the way that our message and business resonated with the audience was a new all time high. Following my presentation, I had several great conversations with people, telling me their stories and how businesses like ours could impact their lives.
