Asphalt has been making roads safer in Canada for over 130 years. Before the 1890s, roads and highways were constructed with gravel, stone, sand, and water. Asphalt was introduced to reinforce roads during the steep increase of automobile traffic. By the mid-1910s, asphalt-paved roads were the norm in urban areas. This build was all-hands-on-deck and over two years in the making. 🎃 It's hard to beat an EH Halloween, but this year's Muppet edition was something special. The #Calgary team gathered to show off their finest and fuzziest tributes to the Hensonverse. Sweetums, Rizzo, Cookie Monster, the Swedish Chef, Benson, Beaker (x2) Animal, Ms. Piggy, Zoe, Abby Cadabby, Kermit, and many others were all in attendance. We think Jim Henson would be proud, even if we didn't get passing grades from Statler and Waldorf. Your move, Mod Op 👀
