We make coffee. But we’re really in the business of waking up the world. We work to unite goodness with prosperity. We dream, then do. And above all else, we wake up and kick ass! We roast Canada’s #1 whole bean coffee. Our Arabica beans are 100% certified Organic and Fairtrade. We’ve been doing this for over 25 years, smack dab in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. And our coffee beans aren’t the only award winners around here. Our human beans kick ass too! Kicking Horse Coffee has been named one of the Best Workplaces in Canada® since 2015. Whoa! A few weeks ago we gathered all our employees for our annual Fun Day! What’s Fun Day, you ask? Well, it’s our tradition where we come together to laugh, connect, and dive into a full day of awesome new experiences. This year’s theme? Kicking Horse Coffee Olympics. Over 100 human beans competed in games like slingshot, mega pong, blindfold fishing, catch the cones, and the iconic build-your-own-boat (and sail it!). The top three teams didn’t just walk away with medals; they scored prize money to donate to local charities of their choice. Fun and giving back? That’s a win-win. This is how we Wake Up the World with purpose.
