About Us
Who we are
We are a diverse group with three main things that hold us together:
- We believe that God made the world through Jesus and for Jesus. And yet, Jesus came into His world as a human, to die a sacrificial death. Jesus was then raised bodily on the third day, and ascended to heaven, where He now reigns at God's right hand. Jesus will return one day soon to judge the living and the dead - salvation and life are only found in Jesus! (Acts 2:22-39, Acts 17:30-31, Colossians 1:15-20)
- We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us, the ultimate word of authority in our lives and teaching, with its central message God's plan of salvation in Jesus. As we read, speak, hear and obey God's Word, His Holy Spirit gives eternal life and changes us to be like Jesus and pleasing to God. (1 Corinthians 2:1-13, 2 Timothy 3:14-17)
- Though less grand, the third thing that holds us together is UNSW. In general, we study, live, or work at UNSW, and our desire is to reach everyone who does the same with the good news of the Bible that offers salvation to all through Jesus Christ!
Our Mission
Prayerfully proclaiming the crucified Christ as Lord of all,
we evangelise, teach, train and send each other
as God’s servants into all the world.

Our Beliefs
- The divine inspiration and infallibility of Holy Scripture as originally given and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
- The unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the Godhead.
- The universal sinfulness and guilt of humanity since the fall, rendering men and women subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.
- The conception of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit and his birth by the Virgin Mary.
- Redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only though the sacrificial death, as our representative and substitute, of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God.
- The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Christ effective in the individual sinner, granting him or her repentance towards God, and faith in Jesus Christ.
- The indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in the believer.
- The expectation of the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
