Welcome to canon_reread, the lighthearted, easygoing place for a pre-Deathly Hallows reread of all six Harry Potter books!

This began as a chapter-per-day reread attempt by pumpkinpasty and her flist, but as real life became more and more imposing, it evolved into a let's-sort-of-stay-in-the-same-general-spot-ish reread, ending July 20th.

There are plenty of other great pre-DH rereads out there, but we're the first and one of the most casual, as well.

Although the chapter-per-day attempt began on February 5th, anyone can jump in at any time. And if you are one of those people who a) has a busy RL or b) likes to read in big chunks, falling behind and reading ahead are perfectly all right. Pace the reread to what works best for you.

What you can post here: Our goal is to completely re-experience canon, so feel free to post any theories (crack or not, we're not choosy), reactions, favorite bits, questions, canon art, and general observations that you have during your reread here in the community! Links to your journal are perfectly fine, as long as they are unlocked.

What you can't post here: Community promotions, fanfiction, fic/art/etc. searches, and any other posts that don't pertain to your reread in some way.
