This essay traces the developments of secularism and pluralism and sees how these feed into the concept that interfaith dialogue is somehow a means to truth.
The main argument is that interfaith dialogue, though seemingly all-inclusive, is actually an exclusive exercise that, in the way it is commonly practiced in the West, only accepts those who adhere to pluralistic and secular assumptions.
