'Makeover's' Pennington Arrested for Drunk DrivingFrom Zap2itIt appears Ty Pennington started his Cinco de Mayo celebration a little early.The "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" host was arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of drunk driving, reports TMZ.com.West Los Angeles traffic officers arrested Pennington at 12:35 a.m. May 5 and booked him at the county jail on a misdemeanor. He was released two hours later after posting $5,000 bail."I made an error in judgment. We all make mistakes, however this is about accountability," Pennington told "Extra" in a statement. "Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving. I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone. This was my wake-up call. I also want to apologize to my fans, ABC Television and my design team for my lapse in judgment and the embarrassment I have caused."Pennington, 42, is due in court on June 4.The Sears promoter previously worked as a model and as a carpenter on TLC's "Trading Spaces" before moving on the ABC's Emmy-winning "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

Hi fellow Ty-fans! Just wanted to post to share my excitement ... I found out the other day that in my psych class, we'll each be researching and doing huge reports on celebrities with mental problems, and my teacher (who happens to be one of my best friends) already assigned me to our dear ADHD Tygert Burton! I'll post the final product on here whenever I get it done ... it's going to be a fun project! -Meredith

hey kiddos! i stumbled upon this community today and i like what i see. it's great to know that there are other lovers of ty out there! i love the whole EM:HE concept, and think that what those people do is amazing. and the fact that ty is pretty darn easy on the eyes...well, that doesn't hurt either! measure twice, cut once......sarah*

Hello all :) I must say, I am a big fan of Ty P. He has a heart of gold. I live in Kansas, but my parents are divorced and my father lives in Kansas City, MO. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is currently in Kansas City building a home for a single father with five kids :) Right next door to my father's apartment building is the Simpson House....a place for parties...and we were driving to work out at the club and we saw Ty filming a segment in his tan stocking cap :D I thought that was a fun story to share. mkays. I <3 Ty (DUH). But what I am looking for, and I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about, is Ty's shirt. He has worn it a couple times on Home Edition. Its the red one with the half skull/half rose logo on the upper left (our right) side. Does anyone have pictures or know where to get it?
