About
ccs_awards is a LiveJournal icon contest community centered around the anime/manga series Cardcaptor Sakura. Every week, we hold a contest centered around a certain theme, which could be image, lyrical, character, or whatever the mods can think of. Icons can be submitted any time from Friday - Friday at 9:00pm EST (6:00pm PST), at which point voting will begin and will continue until 6:00pm EST (3:00pm PST) on Sunday. New themes will be announced on Friday, to give participants the extra two days to work on icons.
Rules	Submission
/01/ Icons must be made fresh for the week's contest and completely by you. Addition of text, brushes, and effects onto pre-existing bases is not allowed, nor are old icons. /02/ Icons must never have been posted anywhere prior to conclusion of voting. This includes, but is not limited to: journals, websites, or any other kind of community. If you are following rule #1, this shouldn't be an issue. /03/ Do not tell your friends to vote for your icon, or advertise it in any way, shape, or form. /04/ Icons must be 100x100 pixels and 40kb or smaller. Icons exceeding restraints will automatically be disqualified. /05/ Users may only submit one icon per challenge unless stated otherwise. /06/ Official images only. Fanart and doujinshi are not allowed. /07/ No voting for your icon. /08/ No participant may place first more than twice in a row. After a participant is rewarded first place for two consecutive weeks, they may not place in the top three for the next two weeks.	/01/ Icons can be submitted any time between the time the theme is announced and the following Friday. Only one icon may be submitted per theme unless otherwise stated. /02/ Deadline for submission is Friday at 9pm EST (6pm PST) unless the voting post is late, in which case icons will be accepted up until the time it is posted. Any submissions past that time are not allowed and will be tossed out. /03/ New themes are announced the Friday of voting, unless a mod's schedule gets in the way, in which case a new theme can be posted at any time over the weekend. If said mod hasn't posted by Monday evening, the week will be hijacked and another mod will post a new theme. Voting will be shifted to the Saturday after voting was originally to be posted. /04/ If you do not want others to use your icons or have your identity revealed with results, specify in your submission post.
