Mist - the touch of another world. In many fairy tales, magic occurs in the fog and the mists
and all magical quest begin in mist.
Mist and fog are used to create fear, confusion or mystery in fairy tales.
Also prevents clear vision or thinking, represents is olation.
Mist is often the symbol of the indeterminate phase .
Mist is also the veil of sacred places like for example Avalon - veiled from everyday human eyes, but visible to the eyes of the soul.
