Gavi recently joined the World Bio Summit 2024, co-hosted by Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare and the World Health Organization. Gavi participated in two impactful sessions organised by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Korean Disease Control and Prevention Agency, where we discussed Gavi's new strategy to ensure sustainable immunization programs, foster healthy vaccine markets, scale up new vaccine introductions, and strengthen health systems for greater equity. Korea’s contributions to global health and support for Gavi’s vaccine portfolio are invaluable. As Gavi’s fourth-largest vaccine supplier, Korean manufacturers play a crucial role in providing life-saving vaccines worldwide. Special thanks to our hosts KDCA for the invitation, and we look forward to continued collaboration. Faisal Gilani Joon Kim -
