The Global Fund raises and invests US$5 billion a year to fight the deadliest infectious diseases, challenge the injustice which fuels them and strengthen health systems in more than 100 of the hardest hit countries.

  The Global Fund and Stop TB Partnership signed a new collaboration framework to increase momentum toward ending tuberculosis in low- and middle-income countries by 2030. “TB is a formidable adversary, but one we know how to defeat. New advancements in TB prevention, diagnosis and treatment bring new hope.   Malaria fights hard. We fight harder. The new Zero Malaria Experience shows ending malaria is possible through the power of innovation and funding. There’s no silver bullet — our malaria-fighting tools are most effective when used together. By combining existing malaria-fighting tools, like mosquito nets and medicines, with future scientific breakthroughs like next generation vaccines and gene-drive technology, we could save 13.2 million lives over the next 15 years. 10 million of the lives saved would be children under five. The fight against malaria is becoming more challenging. To succeed, we must support initiatives like Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and The Global Fund to ensure life-saving tools reach those who need them most, while continuing to invest in new malaria science.   🆕 David Beckham and top malaria advocates have launched the Zero Malaria Experience to show how we can save lives and end malaria through innovation and funding. The interactive installation and film is the first time the historic fight to end malaria has been visualised in this unique way, using brand new research from Imperial College London. The brand new research shows that combining existing tools like mosquito nets with breakthroughs like new vaccines could save 13.2 million lives, including 10 million children under five, in the next 15 years. 🧬🔬🧑⚕️💊💉 Malaria is toughest on children, with one child dying every minute. We’re asking leaders around the world to show their full support for programs like Gavi and the Global Fund to ensure life-saving tools reach those who need them most – while continuing to invest in new malaria science. Malaria fights hard. We fight harder. Together, we can reach #ZeroMalaria.🌍🦟#Teamwork makes the dream work, and we were lucky enough to have the incredible support of so many talented and committed partners on this campaign. We partnered with creative production and experiential entertainment studio The Mill to develop the Zero Malaria Experience, which was filmed at ZeroSpace in New York in partnership with 4Wall Entertainment.
