A fan community for the city of Midgar in the video game Final Fantasy VII. Art, fics, 20-page dissertations, yaoi, yuri, het, violence, death, general twistedness--anything goes, even purely original-character fiction or art, as long as it's Midgar-related or captures Midgar in mood, feel, or theme. It's a city, and a dark one at that. Things happen. Midgar would be rather boring if they didn't.

That being said, this is a Midgar fan community, not a place for generic Final Fantasy VII fandom. Posts about who pairs with who and posts containing pointless smut with only a brief mention of Midgar in passing or nominally used as the setting will be deleted. Pieces containing Midgar as the setting are fine, but again, the mood, feel, and theme of Midgar must play a significant role.

There's really only one community rule: don't be an idiot.
