there will be a JSM LAN this year!!! i know most of us have not played in forever but i think its time to get back into it.i got this email: Hi Everyone,It's that time of year again and to say the least we're a little late in getting the information out, but here it is, better late than never. JSM is happening this year and it's going to be better than ever. Our website has moved for now to www.jsmlanparty.net notice the .net part it's important. We're working on getting back our old site but bear with us. Registration is up on the new forums and ready for you to save your spots. So tell your friends and your friends friends JSM is back.Tices

alright clan time to gear up for JSM

there will be a JSM LAN this year!!! i know most of us have not played in forever but i think its time to get back into it.i got this email: Hi Everyone,It's that time of year again and to say the least we're a little late in getting the information out, but here it is, better late than never. In case you did not see the comment by King[spades]…We did very well last year at JSM, and by very well I mean that we pwned. I took a few people single handedly. We where the top scores in every game that we played in. In other new school and work have not been good to us, many don’t have a whole lot of time to play anymore. But we still mange to get a few games a week in during down times. Personally I am approaching the 250 wins marker, and I have only been playing for a year and a half. Not bad if I do say so myself. I have also been looking for new members as of late with limited success….If you want to be added you must make it so that I or another clan member can comment you journal to communicate with you. You must be tested and we need to sqedual times and what have you. Also STARCRAFT II!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StarCraft_II http://starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/StarCraft_II

NEWS: (Cancelled)-FRIDAY, JULY 7. Recruitment and skill testing will take place on Friday, July 7th at 9:00 US Central time on b.net channel "spades". If you can't be there: post a comment, e-mail, or just hunt me down for those who can.RECRUITMENT POLICY:All [spades] members are able to suggest recruiting someone, and must notify an officer of a potential recruit. The potential recruit will then be asked a few questions and take a simple skill test. If they are deemed to be worthy members based on the test, they will be accepted as a new [spades] member.RANKING SYSTEM:The [spades] ranking system is pretty much self explanatory. Officers are responsible for the training and instruction of newer members, and for leading the clan. All those of a lower rank are required to obey those of a higher rank.Officer ranks:-General-MajorNon-Officer ranks:-Sergeant-Corporal-Private(this is somewhat of a beta list, so post comments on if you think the ranks should be expanded and/or changed)TESTING:Officers are the only ones capable of sanctioning a test, and are required to observe ANY testing match they do sanction. The "scoring method" and terms of the test are to be determined by the officer, and are entirely at their discretion.In the case of initial skill/placement testing, discretion will be up to me. So after helping set up clan blog/news site, I began to wonder how many members do we have? I have decided to start a census of all our current members. To see who I have registered see the cut below. Note that I have used b.net names. If I forgot someone comment and I will add them to the list. I have been trying to recruit a friend b.net name screamopop. This beings up an issue that I think needs to be addressed, that issue being recruitment? Well it looks like it's FINALLY HERE! Clan [spades] is now OFFICIALLY UP AND RUNNING! With the newfound and improved skill of many of our players, I think it's time we can actually get this clan of ours off the ground! There's still a lot of work to do before we get fully settled in, but at the rate we're moving at right now, it'll take no time at all! This board it to be used to post news, events, and information that the clan should be aware about, and to make communication hopefully a little easier when not everyone is online and playing. If your going to make comments to topics posted here, MAKE SURE to read the "About" section under the profile.NEWS:-Naming sessions will take place in short order and info about this will be posted at a later time. If you are in Clan [spades] your suggested name is REQUIRED to have this style layout "name[spades]". Your suggested name will then be considered by the officers as to whether or not it is suitable for use.-"PLACEMENT TESTS" will also be taking place in a similarly short order to determine your rank in Clan [spades]. All new players will start as a "recruit", and will have to meet certain criteria before they will be considered part of the actual ranking system. If you do not qualify, there will be regular training sessions for "recruits" that will take place at pre-mentioned times.-Other training sessions for regular members, tourneys, events, and such will be mentioned at a later time.CONGRATS TO OUR NEW CLAN IN THE MAKING! I made all of our current icons, but the spade. As of now the icons are: a Terran marine, Zerg Hydralisk, Protoss Dark Templar, a Protoss observer, a Ronald MacDonald sponsored zerg rush and last but not least the spade. Have a look and tell me what you think.
