This is a favorite family-heritage photo of mine:
This is my father's family about five years prior to his birth.
Grace and Furman with children Renea, Steve, Arris, and Gordon. They are sitting on the porch of a cabin that was built before the civil war. That cabin is still "standing" on my family's property.
please ask before you use this photo for any graphics or images
( portraits of my great-grandparents, grandparents at a fair, and other grandparents young and in loveCollapse )
please ask before you use the above two photos for graphics or images

My mother has just been diagnosed with cancer and I was told to pray to St. Therese and that I would begin to see roses. I opened my email this morning and my sis-in-law sent me this lovely picture of her grandmother, and I couldn't help but notice the beautiful rose she is wearing, that and it's a beautiful picture that I wanted to share.
No graphic/icon please

Hi everyone - this is my first time posting here. I'm enjoying looking at everyone's old pictures. :-)
Here are a few of my "claim to fame" pictures. Some distant relative of mine was a B-movie actor - here are a few of his head shots! They make me giggle.
Graphics and Icons: feel free!

This is my great grandfather. He was born in 1842. The photos aren't in great shape, but I'm still very happy to have them.
( This is his brother Silvier with a very wooly beard.Collapse )

My favourite Edwardian actress. I collect postcards of her (well, Edwardian actresses in general but she's the one I'm most keen to collect) and the first picture is one of those. You're welcome to use any of these in graphics. In fact, I urge you to do so!

Again, here are photos that were being thrown out but we rescued.
Icons and graphics-making from these: allowed (If you want larger sizes for any of these and my previous photos, just ask.)
