Sergio Benvenuto is a researcher in psychology and philosophy at the National Research Council (CNR) in Rome, Italy, and a psychoanalyst. He was editor of the European Journal of Psychoanalysis and member of the Editorial Board of American Imago and Psychoanalytic Discourse (PSYAD) . He teaches psychoanalysis at the International Institute of the Psychology of Depth in Kiev and at Specialization in Psychotherapy in Naples. He was or is a contributor to cultural and scientific journals such as Lettre Internationale, L’évolution psychiatrique, DIVISION/Review, Journal of American Psychoanalytic Association, etc..
