Welcome to 
coffeeandcorks!
I'm sure you know what it's like. Sometimes, you just want to get away from the world for a while and write to your heart's content. That's what Coffee & Corks is all about - a safe haven for your characters, ideas, arcs, problems... anything else you might encounter in the world of writing.
About Us
(What we do!)
The great thing about us is that we welcome almost anything. Fanfiction, original fiction, poetry - the lot! Once a member, you are able to post your work here whenever you like, as well as post ideas or prompts for other members of the community that they can refer to if they need help. You can post whatever you like, whenever you like; as long as your submission is about writing in one form or another, seeing it here is what we love.
There are daily challenges, weekly questions, handy writing tools, a steadfast community, reviews, advice, guidelines... anything you could possibly want or need when creating and refining your masterpiece work.
Please note: The only exception to the above is that this Community is not for the posting of completed fanfiction. There are several other fandom communities out there for completed works. You are of course still welcome to post fanfic problems, excerpts, advice quieries, etc. here - particularly if they include original characters.
Membership
(What joining us means for you!)
You are free to
the community at any point, as well as engage in discussion/challenges/etc via the comments, or even review someone's work. However, membership (and posting access) is limited. There is a community feel here that we would like to maintain, and that can get difficult with people floating in and out and leaving inactive accounts by the wayside.
Once you can post, you are free to post you entries as "members-only" - although please bear in mind, we actively encourage the majority of our posts to be public, as it encourages those watching to interact and become part of us.
Please don't take the membership thing personally - even if you've only commented a couple of times, you're likely to get membership. It's just an easy way for the community to keep its authentic feel. Honestly, we welcome everybody :)
