Grading Issue – Need Help (original) (raw)

I don’t think the grading system is working correctly. I’ve tried everything, but it keeps giving me a zero. I’ve checked my code, restarted the kernel, and followed all the instructions, but nothing changes. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong—can someone help?

Please post a screen capture image showing the grader’s detailed feedback about why you’re getting zeros.

I expect the mentors who monitor this course will be along shortly.

Its a strange error, I think your solution is right (although do not post publicly).

Can you reset the assignment at question mark on top and then “Get Latest Version”. Delete rename the current version.

Then use again the LLM to help you come up with the solution, retry and let us know what happens.

its still giving me a zero

Send me your notebook in private let me have a look at it? You are using the LLM to solve the exercises, right?

how do you send the note and make it private

Click on a user’s name, you will see a pop-up that has a “Message” button.

I’m referring to a username in the forum. Not inside the course.
Like this:

You use the course File menu to download your notebook ipynb file. You right-click on the file name.

Then you upload the file in a Message to a specific individual.

In fact I do have same problem raised a ticket to coursera team no luck so far.

If the issue is that your code doesn’t pass the grader, Coursera can’t do anything about that.

The best way to deal with these problems in my experience is to reset the notebook with “Get Latest Version” option, and then with the help of the LLM regenerate the code and test it with the exercises.
