hello! i just completed [list.] #8 and im very excited about it. list is my perzine that is written only in list form! its also sort of a comic zine. i draw little cartoons to illustrate each list. since i write about my life at the time, this issue is all about studying abroad in the south of france, where i spent my whole last semester. this zine includes a lot of observations about the differences between france the the U.S., lists about being homesick, lists about traveling, lists about being frustratred with the language, etc. my zine also always includes 3 sections, lists i write myself, lists i find on the street and around my house, and lists that other people write for my zine! im always looking for 'guest lists' so if you'd like to submit, all you have to do is write a list and make a little drawing to go with it. then email me and i'll tell you how to get it to me. hi! i make a zine called [list.] I just completed [list.] issue #7 and its now for sale! just as it might sound, my zine is filled with just lists that i write, lists i find, and 'guestlists' that other people write for my zine. it's mostly a perzine, and this issue is also kind of a comic zine since i decided to accompany each list with a drawing. hi! i present to you: bike #5 / [list] #6 split!this is a quarter-size, comic issue. made by daniel, the creator of bike, and me (ramsey) the creater of [list.].the covers are hand silk-screened on color cardstock paper. the ink is pink, and the paper colors can be seen behind the cut. the bike half includes stories and illustrations of childhood bike injuries, shoplifting, and a series on grocery store workers. his comics are so awesome. the list half includes many short lists including: things to look forward to, financial woes, things in my bedroom, favorite things right now. and more. and each list has little comics too! theres also some mushy boyfriend/girlfriend stuff because thats what we are. this issue is $2.00 (since the covers are hand silkscreened on nice paper), you can pay through paypal at rbeyer@mica.edu or through the mail. comment or email for an address.
