Hello, everybody.
If anybody of you learns filmmaking in universities or works in professional filmmaking companies, give me, please, titles of best (!) tutorials in movie directing, editing, and screenwriting.
I'm not in USA now and can't buy such books in shops. I've seen many such books in american e-shops, but I can't buy all of them. :)
Thanks.

I'm going to fail my internal assessment soon if i haven't thought of a script by next week!!
Ok.
I have to make a short film of 4~9mins.
My MAJOR problem is
I don't have good actors. All the human access i have are people in my film class who look at least ok and will cooperate, who take drama, but probably aren't up for any expressive dramatic facial expression performances (ie. i don't think i can get them to act genuinely sorrowful if required in the script. They'll probably end up cracking up themselves.)
i don't have a lot of experience writing or making short films. (Most of my scripts end up like feature film storyline compressed into a 9 min short film.)
Can some one help or suggest how i should come up with a good script with my situation?
THANK YOU!!
