just joined the other day, and i have to say:

mick is the only member of the crue who never fucking sold out. he doesn't have a clothing line, or 345234 sideprojects, or reality tv shows. he just rocks the guitar, and hes definitely in it for the music. hes also always got interesting shit to say. the fact that hes been touring for so long with all his back problems and shit is nothing short of amazing. don't get me wrong, i love the whole crue, but mick is definitely a huge inspiration musically, and in general.

8/16 has finally come!!!!

Is anyone else going to the show at Jones Beach tonight? If you are, look out for a chick with leopard pants, dark hair, pale skin, lots of tatts (not as many as the Crue)at (silver with a pink iron cross... OK, slightly on the girly side), either wearing a pink & black lace tank or the Shout at the Devil shirt, depending how cold it gets, and moto boots or something with a huge fuckin' heel on it. Leopard handbag. Tons of makeup. 8th row center with my 17-yr old brother who isn't embarassed of going with his Crue Slut 22-yr. old sister.

Yeah, walk up to me and tell me which community you're from. And give a what's up to Simone (that's my nickname) and my bro, Alex.

I just wanted to say hi. Mick is awesome as hell, and one of my favorite guitarists ever. He doesn't get as much credit as he deserves, which is sad, because he's just awesome.

Hey I'm Zoe! The reason I joined this community is because Mick Mars is probably my biggest guitar idol and the Crue are my favourite band. I've been playing for roughly 3 years and Mick has always been an inspiration, especially in terms of solos. I'm currently trying to teach myself some Motley solos and so far I've almost mastered Homesweet Home. Another reason I look upto Mick is because he still manages to rock despite his illnesses :)
