my name's johanna, i'm pretty new to livejournal. i started boarding often when i was 16 (i'm 20 now) but i still don't get to do it as much as i'd like, since i live about 5 hours away from the closest park. *sigh* anyway, good to be here. i'm looking forward to a trip next weekend to Bear Valley, CA. :)

Craving snow

The slopes here are not that great this year. I tryed to go for a rodeo, but there wasn't enough snow. It totally sucked... One of these days I am going to go to Vermont and board up there. I hear it is awesome... I am so wanting to go... I hate not having a lot of snow here. :(

Hey guys, I'm saving up money to go and visit my best friend in Canada and go boarding with her over there.. I'm selling some of my stuff too, so that I can hopefully raise enough for my airfare. Thought that some of you might be interested in this Dakine Pro II Bag, it's really cheap, especially in US dollars, so please bid and help me save!
Peace

This year being my fourth boarding season, I have graduated past New England mountains and I HAVE TO go out West!! Unfortunately, my buddy here is choosing Mexico for her spring vacation instead of hitting the slopes with me.

Does anyone know of a resource for trips for single snowboarder for out West (ie CO, WY, MT, etc)? Or do you know of anyone who would be interested in trading housing? Though I don't know why a person would want to head east for boarding!

If you guys need a new board or anything, this small skate/boarding/surf company Sun Diego is having a tee shirt design contest. The winner receives 10 shirts of their design and a $100 gift card for Sun Diego on-line.

TGR Films

Hi!

My name is Laurie, and I work for a new company called Instant Media (www.im.com). We offer a free program that combines an all-in-one media player, RSS feed viewer, and media download client. I thought that some of you might be interested in one of the channels we have to offer.

We have a partnership with TGR (Teton Gravity Research) where we provide seven of their full-length movies (including their latest, The Tangerine Dream) to our users for free. Most of them are freeskiing and snowboarding. They're DVD-quality, DRMed video and normally each movie would cost $13-27. And of course, if you love the movie, you can support TGR and buy the DVD!

In addition to the TGR movies, we offer a couple of extreme-sport-related podcasts (as well as about 300 other podcasts and two HD channels). We're also hoping to close deals with a few mainstream media companies in the near future.

I hope some of you give it a try. You can download I'M at www.im.com.The program is spy-ware and ad-ware free and instructions are on the support section of the website if you decide to uninstall but run into trouble (closing the program fully is a little tricky). Sadly, it doesn't work on Macs.

I'd be happy to answer any questions you have and feedback is warmly welcome.

(Sorry if you read this twice...crossposted to _riding_snow_, freeskiers, xtreme_sports, and project_no053.)

Thanks for reading!

They're perfectly fine, and I can't return or exchange them so I'm selling them. I don't want to lose too much money over so like since I'm just going to turn around and buy another pair. So I'm willing to sell them for around 320,Iveonlywornthemoncehowever,theyreasizetoosmall.Theyreperfectlyfine,andIcantreturnorexchangethemsoImsellingthem.IdontwanttolosetoomuchmoneyoversolikesinceImjustgoingtoturnaroundandbuyanotherpair.SoImwillingtosellthemforaround215.
