Toujours Pur: The Black Family Community
COMMUNITY BEING SET UP.
The tapestry looked immensely old; it was faded and looked as though doxies had gnawed it in places. Nevertheless, the golden thread with which it was embroidered still glinted brightly enough to show them a sprawling family tree dating back (as far as Harry could tell) to the Middle Ages. Large words at the very top of the tapestry read:

_toujours__pur_, a LiveJournal community for the Black family from the Harry Potter book series.
Community Rules and Guidelines
-- All fan fiction, fan art, graphics, icons, essays, discussions and more are welcome, as long as it is Black family associated. This means anything posted to the community must prominently feature at least one member of the Black family.
*** This will now also include any member of the family listed on the Black Family Tree as of JKR's January 2006 reveal of the extended tree. ***
-- Please remember, there are many centric comms on LiveJournal for many popular characters, so we ask that postings and recs done in this community are not in mass amounts. We are looking for the Black family in its entirety, and while we do count spouses as party of the Black family for this community, we do not wish the community to be flooded with those characters only. The moderator may impose a temporary hold on non-blood family members (such as spouses) if the community is flooded.
