1ST PLACE!!!!!!!!!

yeah!!!

So, we got 1st place in our class(AA) and our division(a combo of A, AA, and AAA) AND we got second place overall. Starr's Mill was the only one that beat us.

Also, Best in Class Guard, Percussion and Band, Second place Majorette, and second or third for Drum Major, I don't remember. Which is all AMAZING, cause there were 12 bands in our class.

WINNARZ!!!

So this was in response to Keith's entry:

The show sucks. Loehr added a weird ass cut in movement two cause our show is too long. And i get to tell Nikki and Tori about it, which should be fun, seeing as I barely get it myself. The props have no idea where the hell they are going, lecarey is never going to add the villans because he is never there, all our drill is crap because we learned it in a week per movement and we never practice on the field so everyone still looks for their spray paint numbers, which by the way are the gayest things I've ever heard of. All our competitions are right in a row so we'll never have time to really work out any kinks that might crop up over the upcoming weeks. Oh, and that last move is going to take all our general effect points and flush them down the toilet, not to mention kill all the mellophones. Death by bases!!! Definitely looking forward to that.

However, a three hour practice on my birthday does not. (I swear to God, if any of you say ANYTHING to Mr. Loehr or Mr. Catoe, or ANYONE, I will HUNT you DOWN and KILL you! I WELL KILL U GIVE ME ADRESS!!11!1!1)

But anyway.

Mr. Catoe is the best motivational speaker. EVER.

ow. there's something in my eye. thought you should know. yeah. just as i was about to post this, something flew into it. like that drat plastic piece last night. only in my eye. and smaller.

I just absolutely love it when Mr. Loehr assumes that everyone is having a sectional just because just about every section decided to have a sectional.

Also, it's nice when there is lack of communication in the chain of command. THANK YOU FOR FAILING TO TELL THE MELLOPHONES, AGAIN. FFFFFFFF "MANDATORY" SECTIONALS. LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!111!11!! OMG WE FAIL O NOES

i think i was COMPLETELY WRONG! so.. ignore just about eveything i posted.

i uh.. posted a bunch of random rambling IN THE WRONG COMMUNITY! so... i think i'll post what i had posted there, cause i wanted to share, even though half of this is total crap.[/EDIT]

guys.. you know in drumline, the whole thing is about the BET southern classic and it's like between morris brown and atlanta A&T? well.. i just saw the BET southern classic on tv.. it was tennesee state and jackson state (not mr loehr's jsu.. a diff one.) and it was freaking AWESOME! you know in the movie how the band does all that dancing and the drum majors don't do any directing? that's what this was.. our colorguard is better than theirs, though.. even etowah's guard is better. anywho. the jackson state one had this huge banner that said "jackson state: the sonic boom of the south" and it was so freaking awesome. maybe it wasn't like the head hancho BET couthern classic, because it was halftime or something.. but i dunno. um. there's a website. www.bet.com (so easy..) i figured i'd post here, since no one would even remotely care if i posted in my reg. lj.
