eero Secure provides a range of security features for your network. In addition to all of eero's standard features, a complimentary eero Secure subscription gives you access to the following:
- Advanced Network Security protects devices on your network from viruses, malware, phishing attacks, and more
- Block Ads will block most advertisements that appear on websites and within many applications on your devices
- Block / Allow lets you block particular websites or allow access to otherwise blocked websites on certain devices
- SafeSearch filters out any potentially inappropriate search results for websites, images, or YouTube on chosen devices
- Content Filtering allows you to filter adult, illegal, and violent content on all devices on a specific profile
eero Secure is included free with your TalkTalk package. However, you will no longer have access to this service if you cancel your TalkTalk services or switch to a TalkTalk package that doesn't support eero.
Advanced Network Security
Let eero protect all the devices on your network from potential viruses, malware and more before anything malicious can happen to you or others. eero Secure will catch these attacks so that your devices stay protected. Advanced Network Security works at the network level, meaning it protects all the devices on your network. To activate the Advanced Security feature, follow the steps below:
- Open the eero App
- Select the Discover tab
- In the eero Secure section, select the Advanced Security bubble to enable this feature
Block Ads
With Block Ads enabled, devices on your network will block most ads that appear on websites and within many applications. Block Ads works at the network level meaning it protects all the devices on your network by default. To activate the ad blocking feature, follow the steps below:
- Open the eero App
- Select the Discover tab
- In the eero Secure section, select the Block Adsbubble to enable this feature
Block / Allow Websites
While content filters are great, sometimes you need extra control over the sites your family can and can't view. Block lets you prevent particular websites from displaying on certain family members’ devices. For example, if you don't mind a little social media use, but they aren't quite ready for Snapchat and Reddit, you can adjust access accordingly. Allow enables you to open web access to otherwise blocked websites.
Safesearch
With SafeSearch enabled it will filter out any potentially inappropriate search results for websites, images, or YouTube. SafeSearch is applied at the profile level and apply to all the devices on a specific profile. To activate the SafeSearch feature, follow the steps below:
- Open the eero App
- Select the Home tab
- From the Profiles section, Select a profile you wish to edit
- Select Safe Filters
- Toggle Safe Search on or off

In addition to ensuring your network stays protected and secure from outside threats, it is also important to keep the people on your network safe from unsuitable content on the internet. These services can be turned on for each individual profile you have and will apply the selected filters to all the devices under their profile.
