I honestly thought my soup would go further than half a bowl today.
Nothing wrong with how it cooked, but it wasn't exactly substantial.
I won't post a picture because it didn't look that bad, but I tried to multitask while making a curry and skyping others yesterday; I ended up forgetting to turn down the heat, the curry sauce evaporated, and it didn't even taste spicy. Disappointing.
I did "Cloud Eggs" (a reciple I read) and am unlikely to try them again. I should have read the recipe first - I thought my standard whisk would be okay, but it turns out I need an electrical whisk to get the eggs like how the recipe says. It ended up with a mess that stuck to the baking parchment - never again.
The recipe book I got this from was How to Boil and Egg by Jan Arkless; I thought I would get away without first boiling the lasagne sheets, as the recipe didn't mention it - this looked horrible and was far from al dente.
Still tasty, but I didn't mean for it to collapse so much.
I am never attempting to make sushi rolls again.
Tasted okay but looks ghastly; it was supposed to be quatre-quarts cake, but I didn't have the right shaped baking tin.
Mine always go wrong when I try to flip them over.
I looked at the picture and thought it was flapjack at first; then I remembered...
