Definition of a cool goth:
1. You're "goth", but you're too cool to acknowledge it.
2. You don't have a "gother than thou" or "uber-goth" type of attitude. What's up with that, anyway?!?!
3. You know your music, but don't criticize newbies for not knowing what you know.
4. You like the fashion, but fashion isn't everything.
5. Most importantly, you're in it for the music.
