The problem of poor revenue generation in local governments has been attributed to corrupt practices among revenue collectors and non-adherence to control mechanisms in Anambra state. To achieve these stated objectives, two research questions and hypotheses were raised. System theory was used to guide the study. It made use of descriptive survey design with a study population of 14,881 workers. It used a 5 point Likert scale structured questionnaire to elicit information from the respondents and the Chi-square statistical tool was to analyse the hypotheses. The study found that corruption among revenue collectors accounted for poor revenue base and that incompetence on the part of internal revenue collectors account for poor revenue generation by local governments in Anambra state. We recommended thus, amongst others that adequate machinery should be put in place to dictate and prosecute corrupt revenue collectors, and that proper documentation and auditing of funds generated, since these will encourage accountability and efficient management of public funds. Also local government authorities should embark on periodic training of its workforce. This can be carried out through seminars, workshops and conferences.

Integration is essentially nation-building programs in which dysfunctional or unstable or "failed states" or economies are given assistance in the development of governmental infrastructure, civil society, dispute resolution mechanisms, as well as economic assistance, in order to increase stability. The study relied heavily on primary and secondary data, and a survey research method was used to examine the application of the Federal Character principle and improve integration. Two research questions and hypotheses guided the study. Findings of the study showed that the Federal character principle impacts on national integration and has not improved the Federal civil service integration in Nigeria. To achieve improved integration, the principle of federal character should be applied with less stringency but with fairness among states and local governments that are homogenous, to avoid creating division where none may have existed.

Adoption of e-government in Nigeria came with mixed feelings and suspicion. Some were of the opinion that the majority of Nigerians are not computer literate, while others expressed that consistency would solve most of the challenges pointed out. However, the rate at which information and communication technology is taking over every aspect of government activities is a clear indication that egovernment has come to stay. On their part, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board embraced e-government in toto. Despite the numerous good sides of electronic government, there are some challenges confronting the implementation of e-government by JAMB. This study adopted the content analysis method while data were collected from journals, government publications, and the official JAMB website. A review of the literature found that JAMB's adoption of electronic government has made it easier for them to run examinations with a computer-based-test method and to quickly release results over the internet.

The research adopted a content analysis approach to systematically analyze and interpret diverse forms of communication related to this topic. The study is grounded in the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) Model, which emphasizes the interaction between job demands and resources and their influence on employee well-being and performance. The analysis includes a review of empirical studies conducted in Nigeria, examining the barriers, incentives, and outcomes associated with employee wellness programmes. The findings suggested that these programmes can positively affect employee physical and mental health, work-life balance, and overall productivity. However, challenges such as limited time availability and prevailing attitudes towards mental health need to be addressed for effective implementation. The study concludes with recommendations for organizations to enhance their wellness programmes and promote a healthier and more productive workforce in the Nigerian civil service.

This study is aimed at accessing the COVID-19 protocols set out by the World Health Organization and their compliance in Nigeria and the role played by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in containing the spread of the deadly virus. A thematic method was adopted to identify the major COVID-19 safety protocols and their compliance in Nigeria. The researchers, however, found out that: academic activities in both public and private schools are still on indefinite suspension, which is one major step in containing the virus, while businessmen and women defied safety measures in their environment; Even after more than four months of raising awareness by the NCDC, the Ministry of Health, and other stakeholders, some people in Nigeria continue to doubt the existence of coronavirus. The health system before the outbreak of COVID-19 was in bad shape, worse still, in a comatose state. Inadequate supplies of testing kits and personal protective equipment, as well as the concentration of testing centers in cities or regions, have hampered testing capacity. Politicians and their supporters were still organizing party gatherings, meetings, and attending social events in stark disobedience to safety guidelines. Based on the above, the researchers recommended that schools be gradually reopened in phases to enable final or exiting students in primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions to write their terminal examinations. There is a need to further sensitize the people at the grassroots through the use of local or traditional leaders and institutions. The government should strive to lead from all angles, including the installation of basic health facilities in hospitals and the provision of drugs. The Nigerian government should also collaborate with both national and international organizations to ensure an adequate and consistent supply of testing kits. People should not be fooled by politicians who break WHO rules when they set up slaughterhouses, meat markets, and other places where people buy food.
