FULL MEMBERS
Service and Conservation Corps
Any unit of government or any private or quasi-public, not-for-profit organization operating a crew-based Service or Conservation Corps. The Corps Network defines a Corps as a comprehensive youth development and service program that engages young people in crew-based service to their community.
Individual Placement Program
Any unit of government or any private or quasi-public, not-for-profit organization operating an Individual Placement Program with a conservation or environmental focus.
Emerging Corps
Any youth program that is in the process of developing a Service and Conservation Corps program but has yet to fulfill all five membership criteria. Programs are only permitted to remain in the Emerging Corps category for two consecutive fiscal years.
AFFILIATE MEMBERS
Any government agency or organization interested in promoting and assisting Corps, including those which operate similar programs or are starting a Corps. Representatives may serve on committees and can request basic technical assistance.
AMERICORPS BASIC MEMBERS
A program, other than a Corps, which has AmeriCorps-funded participants, may become an AmeriCorps Basic Member for the benefit of participating in TCN’s Health Insurance program (NOTE: Several AmeriCorps State Commissions are members of The Corps Network. TCN membership dues are waived for AmeriCorps grantees that receive funding from these State Commissions. Visit our Members by State page to check whether your State Commission is a member).
