Christmas isn't too far away so that means it's time for our annual Christmas fic challenge!
Theme: Christmas
Deadline: 25th December
Challenge: Write a fanfic of any length (min 100 words) that includes both Captain Planet and the Christmas theme. It can be as literal or as ambiguous as you want (because, let's face it, not all of the Planeteers celebrate Christmas). As long as there is a tie in to Christmas. It can include any and as many of the characters as you like.
Submit your Christmas fic as one post to 
cpfanfic, behind an lj-cut. Please use the +challenge tag.
You can complete the challenge as many times as you like. Please post each challenge submission as a new post.
If you are unsure about anything about the challenge just comment to this post and either myself or one of our lovely mods with answer it as soon as possible :)

Title - Right In Two

Rating - PG13 for now, rating will change as chapters progress
Summary - Withthe fate of his friends at stake he is forced to make an impossible decision.
Characters - Looten Plunder, Argos Bleak, Mame Slaughter, Stalker Slaughter, Ma-Ti, Wheeler, Kwame
Warnings (if any) - While there's nothing explicit, or even any language (how did I manage that?!) in this chapter, torture is alluded to. Rating will be upped in subsequent chapters.
Author's note - Written for the Darkfic Challenge. This was originally intended as a one-shot, but I decided it would be better as a multi-chap fic instead. Ma-Ti also plays a starring role; I think there is a lot of potential for Ma-Ti's power to be explored, particularly under this theme. It takes a particular type of character to wield such a power, but he's only human and maybe under certain conditions he might be swayed to use it for darker intents. Also, I kinda of like the idea of the Planeteers getting beating up and dragged through hell :P And Mame Slaughter is a total badass who totally deserves a role in darkfic.
Also, I had some internet outage so um sorry for the late post D: Oh and title is a song by Tool of the same name. Enjoy!

Rating: Let's shoot for teen. Obviously it's a dark fic...
**Summary:**Man had always warred with one another, but not to this extent.
Characters and/or pairings: Gaia, Captain Planet, unnamed Planeteers
Warnings: Well, it's a dark fic, so... yeah. Mentions of murder, death, and whatnot, nothing too graphic however.
Author's note: Fully aware canon says Gaia was asleep for the last hundred years, so AU since I sorta set this during WWII. However, it's vague enough you could imagine it set sometime in the future as well...

Word count: At itty-bitty 262 words.
Rating: All Audiences.
Summary: As long as she had him, everything would be all right. As long as he had her, everything would be all right.
Characters and/or pairings: Hinted Captain Planet/Gaia. Yeah, I went there.
Warnings (if any): Besides the fact this is my first step into fanfiction for this fandom, none.
Author's note: This fandom was all but forgotten to me until I saw the wonderful fan made trailer. Now I'm obsessed...
Prompts are from DA user lostonelawliet I found them after I made this, but Mantra fits what I had in mind... so yeah. I'll be posting them here, on DA under Mind-of-ice, and FF.net and Ao3... so pretty much everywhere!

Title: Lost Between the Notes

Summary: With a sweeping glance as he stood in her doorway, slightly dishevelled, bruised and radiating anger, she pieced together easily enough a summation of what had likely taken place. This time one of them had overstepped the hazy line he and his father courted so frequently. Wheeler back-story.
Characters/Pairings: Wheeler, Trish, vague Wheeler/Trish
Author's notes: Originally intended for the Backstory Challenge**.** This is set not too long before he joined the Planeteers, so when he's around 16ish? (He was 17 when he became a Planeteer). So, obviously, it's not going to include any of the Planeteers. It does star Trish, and whether you love her or hate her, there's no denying she played a part in his life. Here, I've interpreted them as much more 'casual' in their relationship, and aren't really boyfriend/girlfriend (at least not at this stage), but they do have a close friendship tied by their backgrounds. For those that might not recall, Wheeler's father is a drunk, and so that plays a significant part of this story. It is a massive part of his character and his background, so that's a point of focus. This will be multi-chap. Rating shouldn't change much; there won't be anything massively violent or sexual, but I'll give you a heads-up if anything will show up. Only some minor reference to violence and I don't think I even swear in this chap :P I know, right! Oh and also, the title is taken from a Radiohead song, Jigsaw With a Piece Missing which is just so...Wheeler. Also, a big shout-out to ozqueen andfrankiealton for their beta skills and allowing me to bounce ideas off them.
