The Appointments Committee, College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM), is seeking one pharmacist to fill a vacant position on Council. The successful candidate will serve out the remainder of a three-year term, expiring May 2027.
Registrants who are interested are asked to review the application information, complete the online application form, and submit your resume, by Friday, December 6, 2024.
CPhM Council is the governing body responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization and ensuring that CPhM meets its mandate to uphold the public interest while regulating the practice of pharmacy professionals.
The Council consists of members of the public appointed by the Minister and registrants appointed by the CPhM Appointments Committee.

Renewal Deadline – November 15, 2024
The College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM) is currently conducting its annual registration and licence/listing renewal.
Key reminders:
- Pharmacy professionals and pharmacies must complete the online renewal by November 15, 2024 to avoid late fees.
- All components of the renewal must be completed by the deadline, including paying the applicable fee(s).
- Pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacies who fail to renew on or before the deadline will incur a late fee, equal to 50% of the renewal fee, being added.
- A pharmacy professional, regardless of class of registration, who does not renew by December 31st will be removed from the register as a result of non-payment and must initiate an application to reinstate their registration and licence/listing if they wish to practice in the 2025 Practice Year.

Regular monitoring of prescription queues throughout the day can help minimize processing delays and prevent unnecessary refill requests, which may lead to additional workload and increased redundancies for prescribers and pharmacists alike.
