Psychological Recovery 6 months~Sherlock Holmes soundtrack (Hans Zimmer)]Hello Crafty Beatle People!Sorry I've been a bit of a neglectful mod...I've been running a show/crafting my own costumes/furthering my own acting career/attempting to sleep. Anyway, a costume I recently built can go here I think...First off, I warn many people of this...I. am. a. geek! Like I get into debates over who would win in a fight; Batman or The Flash. I've been this way as long as I can remember, video games, comics, sci-fi, you name it...yeah. Anyway, as such I attend a yearly Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention. Now, I haven't hopped on board every geek trend to grace the scene (I cannot get into pirates...it's just annoying and overdone now, plus a lot of people I don't like are on that ship...pardon the pun)...however, one I have jumped full steam into (pun intended) is steam punk. I love the idea of a future from the past and Victorian silhouettes have always been a love. I needed a few costumes (one of which fits in this community), one being an emcee costume...as I was emcee-ing a couple shows at the CON. Now, in the shows I run/emcee I go by Abbie Rhode (get it?), so what could I do to bring that to steampunk?this... and a second photo with a friend, little more dressed up (in bustle skirts) for a dance we had it's all loosely based off the Sgt. Pepper from The Beatles LOVE (which I saw again this past February for my birthday!) |
