Nous introduisons dans cette Note une nouvelle famille d’éléments finis mixtes pour l’élastodynam... more Nous introduisons dans cette Note une nouvelle famille d’éléments finis mixtes pour l’élastodynamique linéaire. Nous présentons la construction de l’élément d’ordre le plus bas dans le cas 2D, ainsi que l’analyse de dispersion en milieu élastique isotrope homogène. Ces résultats peuvent être généralisés aux ordres supérieurs ainsi qu’en 3D.We introduce in this Note a new family of mixed finite elements for the linear elastodynamic problem. We present the construction of the lowest order element in the 2D case together with the dispersion analysis for an isotropic homogeneous medium. This construction can be extended to higher orders as well as to the 3D case.

This layer has the astonishing property of generating no reflection at the interface between the free medium and the artificial absorbing medium. This allows us to obtain very low spurious reflection even with very thin layers. Several experiments show the efficiency and the generality
