I know, a very strange ad to post here but there is a purpose. We're a new rp with a mystery/crime novel feel. We especially want character FROM crime novels (come on, give us some good classic lit), so please give us a look.
Thought I'd post something since I haven't seen much in a while.,.
As I said in my previous post I'm a huge Tess Gerritsen fan, and I've also read some of Kelly Armstrong's newer series - Exit Strategy & Made to be Broken.
I'm basically looking for more good authors out there. I find that the crime novels are kind of scattered throughout my local books store, between crime, mystery & fiction... so it's not always the easiest to pick up a good author.
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks!
Has anyone read Tess Gerritsen's novels? I've read the Mephisto Club from the Jane Rizzoli & Maura Isles Series and it seemed to stand alone really well. I've picked up Vanish and Body Double and have started Vanish.
I'm just wondering what your opinions are on reading the books out of their series order. Does it make a difference? Am I missing vital information by not reading them in order? As I said, I found the Mephisto Club stood alone really well, but I also didn't realize that it was a series and there was an order to them at the time.
Thanks for your opinions!
