When I sold this at G-Fest, only 5 people got that this was supposed to be Mothra in Frank Herbert's "Dune." To them, I give much kudos.

Man was this one tough! Especially the stillsuits worn by the Shobijin and getting the two to look the same. Stippling the dunes was the worst part. I stippled their shadows before deciding to make them black. And trying to get the desert mouse in the moon to look like the one in the David Lynch version. All in all I'm pretty damn proud of it, especially since it was the first pic I started working on and after a two year hiatus at that!

Funny thing is I found "Dune" on DVD in the Dealer's Room. You bet I snagged it!
