Characters: Buffy, Caleb, FaithTime: NightLocation: A few blocks from the HyperionRating: PG-13Status: OpenAs Buffy left the Hyperion for a routine patrol, she let out an exhausted sigh. The past few days had been long, tiring, and confusing. First, a visit with the Slayer-wannabe boy, then a supremely awkward, emotionally-charged visit from Angel, and then attempting to recruit a new Slayer.Well, this Slayer was wiped. And instead of taking a long bath like she wanted, she decided to take a long walk in search of lurking danger. After all, she liked to fight out her issues, instead of relaxing them away. Although there were others ways of relaxing them away she would have liked to indulge in. Not like that was happening anytime soon. So, patrolling it was.As she was nearly four blocks from the Hyperion, she heard the muffled sounds of a girl pleading. "Oh, score," she said to herself, then immediately chastised herself for getting so excited about a vampire dusting. But, it had been a while. She almost missed the thrill of a battle she knew she would win. Then again, she always had that feeling, but after the past year, she hadn't been so sure sometimes. Armies of ubervamps and insanely, psychotically strong priests really broke your confidence."Hey!" she shouted to the vampire, who looked startled as she sent a kick into his face, knocking him away from the scantily clad teen. "Run. And you really shouldn't wear that around here. Darkened alleys really bring out the creeps," she told the girl as her heels clattered away. The vampire was quick to return a kick of his own to Buffy's torso. She felt her breath leave her for a moment, but quickly recovered, and let her fist do the talking. Quips got old sometimes, even for her. After a few minutes passed, she plunged her stake into the vampire's heart. "Fu--" It exploded into dust. She let a smile fall over her face and shoved the stake back in her pocket. She was feeling better already.

[**Current Mood** |anxious]Characters: Lilah, LindseyTime: Mid-dayLocation: Small Bistro Cafe three blocks from the firm and Lilah's apartment.Rating: PG-13-RThread Status: IncompleteLilah'd spent last night not speaking to Lindsey, other than to agree with him about needing to get information on Willow before contacting her directly. It had been her idea that way they'd know more about her and hopefully be better prepared to deal with her. Lilah had spent the morning on her laptop and an hour at the firm digging through archives to find records on Willow Rosenburg. She gathered all her findings and tossed them into a folder, before going back to the apartment to shower and change. She was supposed to be meeting Lindsey at the small cafe bistro that was about three blocks exactly from Wolfram and Hart and her apartment. She'd picked that particular spot for its location and its excellent food. She was sitting at a small table for two with a French vanilla latte when he finally showed up with a briefcase in his hands. She glanced at her watch, then at him and sighed. "You're late, what the hell took so long?" She'd been waiting for a little over two hours.

Who: Drusilla, Spike and EmelineWhere: Some unpleasant street in L.AWhen: Around midnight, maybeThread Status: IncompleteRating: none ftmHer head was like a balloon all filled up with blood and intoxicating feelings. Her hands rested upon it and she curiously patted her dark hair, feeling naughty bits of violence and hunger run around underneath all the roots of hair. "I'm terribly afraid that my head will grow so big that it will explode," she mused, an absent touch in her soft, velvety voice as she spoke. "that wouldn't be very nice now, would it, Spike? Little bits of hair and flesh all over me. I don't think I could see very well without my eyes though, so I think I would like to keep my head as it is." Thrumming her fingers against the top of her head, Drusilla tried to secure it from exploding somehow. "Do I look strange to you, love?" she asked, feeling the blood calm down within her, her mind coming to a rest. "I think it's back to normal, but I can never really tell. Sometimes it feels so awfully big, you know."Shuddering slightly she pulled her arms around her shoulders, thin fingers settling down around the thin roundness of skin and bones. She felt strange, a thrilling sensation crawling up and down her spine. Little Spike was back, all new and shiny again, and she had the blood of seven young girls and three pretty boys on her tongue and within her. That was why it had felt like her head was about to explode, they were all running around within her now, sweet William too. There was no Buffy sleeping inside him now, that nasty Slayer was all gone. He would kill her now, Drusilla was sure of it. He would hack and smash and bash like a good boy, tear her apart and turn her into a tasty supper. Ah, the thought of it made Drusilla feel hungry again, and a deep, dangerous smile slowly crept upon her lips. Moving down a street where dirty people were gathered around tiny fires, she swayed her hips like a dancer as her dark shoes made love to the street underneath her. A pretty scene. It would be such a pretty scene. Oh yeah, she knew. She always knew. Swirling around to face her dark, golden boy she laughed softly, placing an arm around his neck, kissing him lightly over his cheek. "Someone's waiting for us," she whispered, a smooth conviction in her voice, her lips playing with his earlobe as she spoke. "she’s new. Her strength is playing with her, making her heart beat like a jumpy little lamb.” Drusilla closed her eyes and painted an invisible trace in the air with a slender finger, an amused and fascinated giggle pouring out from her throat. She could feel it; the strength of a Slayer. Close. Leaning closer to Spike she inhaled the air into her lungs, feeling the pretty, little Slayer all over the place. "You up for a little game, pretty Spike?"( Emeline didn't even know how long she had been walking the streets,Collapse )
